What is Urgent Care?
Urgent care is treatment for a condition that requires prompt attention, but does not pose an immediate, and serious health threat. Urgent Care is a convenient alternative when your regular clinic is closed or you can't get a timely appointment with your own physician. If your condition is life-threatening, please get to your nearest hospital as soon as possible. The ER is designed to accomodate the mosre serious emergencies before those that are less severe, thus it can save you time and money to visit our Urgent Care if your injury or illness is less severe.
How long will I have to wait?
Urgent care patients are generally treated on a first-come, first-served basis, however every attempt will be made to see you as quickly as possible. If you have an appointment, it is reccomended you come a little early so that you can have ample time to fill out the required paperwork so that we can accomodate you as soon as possible. No one likes to wait long hours at the ER, this is why we have designed a system where our patients can essentially skip the wait and save money and time in the process.
Who will I see?
Comprehensive Urgent Medical Care is staffed by a fully Board Certified Physician who has extensive experience in Urgent and Primary Care. Our courteous staff will provide you the best medical care possible within our means, or we will guide you to an appropriate referral center.
